Saw that recall. Actually pretty decent on mileage, hence the diesel. I need something to pull a fairly large boat and also have a large enclosed trailer used in our business.

if this is from a dealer, tell them you want a Carfax run on it as part of the deal.

Follow the thread with me - private party seller, and 2nd it is a diesel and Motor Trend reports an avg of 15.7 mpg with a mix of city and hwy. Which isn't great, but isn't bad especially when you need something to pull 5000 lbs and more.

Also, I do have some tax savings for buying it as it is going to be for my business.

It won't matter. There isn't going to be any diesel or gasoline in approximately seven months anyway.

21.5 mpg at 70 mph on a trip to Ok. City to pick up my boat, 15.7 on the way back pulling the boat.

I do have the power programmer and have it on the economy setting, it will still pull a house down the road. It seems like I am always towing something. Getting ready to sell it, I want around the same year, same engine, but want a truck to haul lumber in the back. Currently remodeling a house.
