Pick your 2008 Chiefs MVPs

Check one offensive, one defensive MVP. Colquitt is the STs MVP, no poll neccessary.

There is no MVP other than Colquitt.

I think Gonzalez's high level of play, leadership and glittering stats make him the one player this team could not make it without. Without Gonzo no one would be talking about Thiggy as anything but a back up for 2009.

None of those defense guys are even close to being an MVP. Its basically Gonzo and thats it.

TG and Flowers.

Yep, I think that has to be it.

Thiggy and Flowers. Can't give it to Gonzo simply because he was begging to be traded at the deadline.

I goofed the poll - should have had Flowers, not Carr, but both have played commendably for rookies.

ChiefJustice 12-12-2008 07:14 AM

THERE IS NO QUIT IN COLQUITT !!!

This is the mantra that has made this debacle of a season somewhat enjoyable.

Deberg_1990 12-12-2008 07:58 AM

Albert and Flowers

Why didn't you vote in the poll?

This is the way I voted too. DJ and Flowers have had moments, but no one has lead the defense consistently enough to earn a vote.

I voted for TG and flowers but I would also like to note that none of us would have enjoyed any of the last Chiefs games (starting from the Jets game) hadn't Thigpen started for us..

I disagree with the last part about TG though..

Thiggy might be staring at some pretty ugly numbers without the greatest TE to ever play the game in the pattern.

All any QB has to do is launch a jump ball in TG's zone he's going to come up with the 'rebound'....

I like Thiggy a lot, but TG is a huge part of his successs.

Gonzalez and Flowers
