There's a difference between drafting a QB 1-1 and drafting a QB 4-1.

Alex Smith and QB #1 overall are mutually exclusive.

Andy Dalton is the exception, not the rule.

And his ceiling is high-end game manager.

I can't believe people would actually WANT that.

Jags fans. Everything you know of or expect from a true a fan, that's the Jags fanbase. Straight sickening.

I doubt any of that will happen which is why I don't want Alex Smith in KC.

This.

Only this fanbase would be drooling and beating off for Alex Smith...

Did you watch Alex Smith in the first few years?

How would Alex Smith be without a great defense and running game?
The 49ers are stacked with talent.

Chiefs fans want to Bargain shop at positions of highest importance, yet are ok investing high picks at positions that are available in bargain shopping.

I'm not, but the Chiefs are going to acquire more than one QB, probably draft and trade or FA. I don't think the QB they get in Fa should have no threat to start just to leave a path for a first round QB. I want them to get the best they can in all ways possible.

O.city 02-01-2013 03:35 PM

Why do we want competition for our first round first overall picked QB? By taking him there, you are saying he's the guy to lead this franchise. Why not give him every opportunity to do that?

Again, Seattle didn't do what everyone is wanting the Chiefs to do.
