He bashed the Royals for releasing him.

They knew he was done.

hands-down, my favorite athlete of all-time.

Prime-time wasnt even close.

The only thing that sucked about Bo... is that he made me watch Raiders games.

I loved Bo Jackson. What a stud.

Most talented athlete I've ever seen in my lifetime.

If you're a real sports geek you'll read "Bo knows Bo" not because it's a book about patting himself on the back but it's the story of a truly rare athlete.

Not to ruin the end but there's one man he states he'd love to beat down to this day.

I would not want to be that man...

Three things I'll never forget about him as a Royal:

1. The homer he hit in the All-Star game.
2. The throw against Seattle when he threw it from the warning track ALL THE WAY to home plate! (And I believe he got the runner out!)
3. When he broke the bat over his knee after striking out one time. He made that bat look like it was nothing more than a toothpick.

that must have been tuff. crazy Al took a flyer on Bo and it paid off. Its too bad Bo didn't have a long playing career but I'm also ok that he had a short nfl career because he was a faider.

I remember when we had a choice where to go (KC OR STL) for our 8th grade trip I actually threatened people if they didn't vote KC.

I don't remember exactly what game it was but it was after his injury. He was doing PH duty by then. He struck out twice (and broke the bat over his neck twice) and then ****ING BLASTED ONE...

We all ROARED.
