Last night it was basically the same thing only they had a message to click "here" to update punkbuster if you were having problems. I did so and it would just take me back to the login screen again with the same punkbuster message. Tonight I just get the login screen. No punkbuster message. I am getting really pissed at this point. At this point I am saying they can take origin and stick it up their asses. It is bullshit that I can't play the game unless I connect to their shit when their shit doesnt work. **** EA! |
I am on live chat with them now. It was close to 20 min for help. I am so ready to yell at someone.

I tried to play on X-box live for two hours last night and could never get on. Man I was pissed. I've owned this game for four days now and probably have been able to play a total of 4 hours.

The network was down for about 2-4 hours last night on all systems.

This was my chat with EA Live Chat. They suck ass. Sorry for any misspelled words. I was typing fast.
You: This is will be the second time I have talked to someone. This is two nights in a row that I cannot get on. I get logged into origin but when I launch the game I get your login screen. I enter my credentials (even though I shouldn't have to) and it refreshes and takes me back to the exact same login screen. There are no errors. Cody: Ok, can we verify your email and date of birth please? you: **************** Cody: One moment please. you: How many more moments should I wait? (this is after like 15 min) Cody: I apologize for the wait. (and I wait another 5 min I think) Cody: Are you able to run this game in offline mode? you: Yes I was Cody: Have you already tried bypassing firewalls/antivirus, resetting modem/routers? you: I was able to play before yesterday when you guys were having problems. Nothing has changed on my end. I have rebooted a couple of times. Cody: You were already able to play online? Cody: Yesterday correct? you: Yes, two days ago I was having no problems. I was not able to yesterady. You had some message about click here to update punkbuster if you were having problems. I would click the link and it would just take me back to your login screen with the punkbuster message. Today I don't see the punkbuster message but I am getting the same results from trying to login to the websit. Cody: Ok, we are aware of that issue, we are currently working to resolve it as fast as possible. Cody: I am very sorry for the trouble it is causing. you: What issue? Cody: Can I help you with anything else? you: The problem that I can't get on? you: Why is there no message on the website? Cody: I don't know about messaging on the website, I know there are still technical issues that need working on that we are still working on. Cody: If you would like I can give you the port numbers for port forwarding. Cody: This may be the issue that can help. you: So is everyone having this issue or just some people? Cody: Not everybody is having this issue, just some. Cody: I'm really very sorry for the trouble this is causing, can I help with anything else? you: Yes, is EA offering any refunds for the problems? I pay $60 for a game that I want to play online yet I am stuck sitting here chatting with you. you: What timeline should I expect this to be fixed in? you: Will I receive an email possible? Cody: I'm sorry but we have no ETA as we are unsure as to when exactly it will be ready. Cody: If we issue out an expected time and have unforeseen problems and it takes longer, our customers will only get more angry. you: So basically, 1. you don't know what the problem is 2. you don't know when it will be fixed. 3. Your not even sure I am one of the people that fall into this catagory. Cody: Our technicians know what the problem is, they are working towards fixing it and we know that if people have already been able to play, but cannot now, they are the affected. Cody: I stress again we are very sorry for the trouble this is causing you. Cody: We are working towards fixing it as fast as we can. Cody: Can I help you with anything else? |
