Used to be a great app.

So, I've been looking for a new app. Tried out Hangouts and I like it reasonably well. Only issue I have with it is that it doesn't appear that I can set individual notification tones for people.

The latest version has customized notifications...

Ironically my trial for another went out and downloaded SwiftKey yesterday

I'd love to try this, but I'm afraid it'll **** up my phone.

Got sick of Handcent and Go SMS, playing with TextSecure at the moment. Pretty cool. Encrypts messages between users and encrypts locally stored messages.

Nice! This saved me a lot of trouble in re-rooting after updating my stock ROM.

TowelRoot didn't work on my Sprint Note 3.

One of my friends put an app on the Play store. Brilliant idea. Simple program. Free. It's called Tymey.

When you put your phone on vibrate or silent mode with your volume buttons, a timer option will pop up. It allows you to set how long you want your phone to stay on silent or vibrate. It will turn the ringer back on automatically after the allotted time.

It's great for when you are about to go into a movie, or a meeting etc. I'm constantly missing calls because I forget to turn my ringer back on after meetings. Give it a try:

How did you get to it? I ran into a pay wall.

If you're a two-factor authentication user, check out Authenticator Plus. Basically the same functionality as Google's version, but you can back up your settings and transfer them between phones so you don't get screwed when your phone dies like I did. Looks purdier too.
