Saw an interesting stat on PowerMizzou today:

In the two games without Nerlens Noel, Kentucky has allowed 129 points per 100 possessions. Spread out over a whole year, that would be the WORST defensive efficiency in the country.

It's been a long time since this team has not had the shot-eraser in the middle (this is the first time since Calipari got there, really). Have to do things MUCH differently on defense when you don't have that guy. UK is such a perimeter pressure team, I think they need to dial that back a little now that they don't have the premium shot blocker in the middle.

Good point. I still hate that type of D though, because you're ****ed if your big gets in foul trouble.
