This should be another lopsided game, but in our favor again.

Promise?

Look at that opponent OPS for Wade Davis. Yikes!

Archie F. Swin 04-29-2013 10:56 AM

Time to throw at Aviles' head? Oh, and charge Chris Perez?

Old Dog 04-29-2013 10:56 AM

-145 on the money line.

Archie F. Swin 04-29-2013 11:18 AM

By this time last year we were 6-14.

.558 at home and .920 away. Small sample size but worth mentioning none the less.

And Jimenez has been pretty dang bad.

Mind if I ask what that means? Been wondering.

Just found out my new job doesn't start until May 13. Going to drive up to KC next week for the series against the Yanks. First game at the K for me in 13 years. I can't wait.

When making a bet and trying to win $100 you would need to be $145 on a -$145 money line.

Conversely the Indians are +$135, meaning if you bet $100 on them you win $135 or cash back in $235 on your $100 bet.

If the Money line was -$125 and you bet $125 on the winning team your ticket cashed in would be $225.

A -$145 money line is a pretty big favorite. Most are between 100-120 and the biggest favorites of the day are usually around -$160-180. Anything over -$200 is a very, very heavy favorite.

Nice. Hopefully wade has his stuff tonight.

We have to take 3 of 4 here. Absolutely have to.

Halfway to the K for this one. Can't wait to arrive!

I agree completely. We need to beat up on the teams that are supposedly "bad." For the longest time for the opponents we fulfilled the "have to beat them because they are bad" role exceptionally well so now that the roles are starting to reverse we need to keep it going.

Lprechaun 04-29-2013 02:49 PM

Not to jump ahead but we need to jump all over the Rays this coming week as well.

In all those interviews, ball players say they take them one at a time..........

Lprechaun 04-29-2013 03:41 PM

Well none of us are ball players so we can think ahead a bit haha

I am genuinely curious if all the rainouts affect the players. We always hear that baseball players are creatures of habit. I really hope for the sake of our offense that as the weather warms up they get some more consistent power.

I know they effected me.

RedDread 04-29-2013 05:01 PM

Boy I'd like to see Ned move Perez up 1 or two spots. Either split up Moose and Frenchy or just bat behind Cain.

Agree. In what alternate world is Jeff's bat more effective than salvy's? How does Ned justify batting salvy 8th?

RedDread 04-29-2013 05:23 PM

Wow, Jimenez even gave up 4 ER over 5 IP to the Astros.

winds S 14 gusting to 22.

I'm not saying, I'm just saying...
