Eating pad Thai right now at tasty Thai. Ordered it hot.. I'm drinking my water with my lips in the glass. Holy hot face.

Next time, order it "Thai hot." The Thai people like food milder than Americans, so when you ordered it "hot," they thought you wanted "American" hot.

before it was Sawadees it was 'Chims Thai Kitchen' and Chim happens to be the wife of a co-worker I worked with for years and know extremely well. Every once in a while he will bring in home cooked thai goodness from home with the SAUCE OF FIRE.

Too bad Chim sold out cause she is straight up from the old country, barely speaks English, but will melt your hear with food.

Never had Pad Thai hot.. I've been making it at home lately though... really pretty easy to make.

Their Thai hot isn't even that hot, but Pad Thai isn't generally a very spicy dish, and I eat Buffalo Wild Wings' Wild and Blazzin too much, so I've built up quite a tolerance. One guy there told me they have Thai hot, x2, x3, and 'Nuke'. :shrug:

Outside of the heat though, it is very good.
