The fumble maybe?

To see if we could still win the game with one less timeout.

Basileus777 09-29-2008 01:28 PM

I believe he was challenging whether LJ recovered his own fumble.

Maybe he was wanting to see if LJ really did a handstand?

Yea he thought he should have recived a 5.6 not a 4.1.

Honestly? Herm has not challenged enough in the past, so he decided to challenge that call, just to make up ground.

chiefs1okie 09-29-2008 01:32 PM

What he really wanted to see was L.J.'s "handstand" on the big jumbotron.

tooge 09-29-2008 01:33 PM

He wanted to see if his stud running back was really wuss enough to let go of the ball in order to cushion his fall

Well thankfully in his brilliance, he didnt spend another time out wanting to really see if it was fumble or not....

Yeah, he is a little slow, but he may understand what happened on that, now.

I was afraid, he was going to need that challenge, late in the game on that Bowe catch on the sideline. I still think he was in.

My uncle was talking about that last night...

Said Herm never seems to challenge what needs to be challenged and will always challenge the obvious...

Herm is challenging to say the least.

No way, it was way to obvious to challenge... Maybe Herm was mad he didnt have enough airtime up until that point?

ottawa_chiefs_fan 09-29-2008 01:47 PM

It really boils down to the fact that Herm just isn't very smart.

I feel like we are giving the other 31 teems, 2 strokes per side, having this guy call the shots.
