Guys on NBATV say Harden should have been on the other side of his man and that play doesn't happen.

I can't believe it either. I thought they'd most likely try to clear out to get a guy off the pick freed up going to the basket.

You definitely don't let arguably one of the top 3 clutch shooters get the open look at his spot. You'll notice he's rarely a guy who toes the line shooting the 3 ball- in fact, that shot about 2 feet back is probably his best look because he's takes it so much it's committed to muscle memory.

Looked like he practiced that shot many times before.

Can't blame Parsons just a beautiful designed play

Stotts abused McHale on that play.

On what planet are the Rockets the better team?

Portland has the better starting 5, the better bench, and absolutely deserved to advance.

Teams with Monta Ellis don't win titles.

dirk digler 05-02-2014 11:46 PM

Stotts said Aldridge was the first option but Lillard got so wide open

Ladies and gentlemen...your classic sour grapes. Textbook.

Best round of playoffs I can remember.

Hard to take that position in a 7 game series. Single game elimination, sure. Maybe, even in a best of 5. And we're talking about a 4-5 matchup with 2 teams that finished with regular season with the same record.

Best of 7s aren't flukes especially when they don't even goto a 7th game.

Blazers flat out stole 3 games and Aldridge had two of his three highest career point totals. Thought they got the short end on redding a bit too. Props to them, they deserve it, but Rockets were unlucky to lose this series.

But you hate Howard, so...

Howard played well, but I still don't get missing the free throws.
