Maybe it's just wishful thinking but I got a hunch Peyton and the boys get a surprise tomorrow.

Ravens over Broncos - Ray Lewis sticks a shiv in Peyton's leg

Patriots over Texans - If the Texans couldn't get home field after that start, they've already lost.

Packers over 49ers - Packers found a running game and Harbaugh will miss having an experienced QB.

Seahawks over Falcons - Atlanta's sports teams continue to choke.

Enjoy the games. Our day is coming!

I like all those except Balt. Ravens just haven't been good lately. Beating a rookie at home last week wasn't even really all that impressive.

Other thing hurting SF is if Justin Smith doesn't play. Not sure what the latest is on that. It's the diciest matchup IMO but I lean in your direction.

I think Seattle matches up with Atlanta so well. They have an elite secondary with big CB's and the Falcons give up 123 yards on the ground average.

I think Lynch will go HAM on them and Wilson will have some time in the pocket. Don't think they'll be able to get pressure on Wilson either.

I will never bet against Atlanta at home. At least not since Matt Ryan took over. Russell Wilson is pretty good, but I don't think he will out-dual Ryan. Atlanta has more talent overall. There's plenty of reasons to pick the Falcons in this one.

Seattle is dominant at home, just like the Falcons are. But once they're taken away from their place, they aren't quite the same team. Seattle will find a way to malfunction.

All I care about is that Green Bay loses so we can get our Damn GM

TribalElder 01-12-2013 12:32 AM

Would the world freak out if the seacrows go to the big dance with a rookie QB

Cmd'r&Chief 01-12-2013 12:39 AM

I doubt there would be a freak out. It would certainly be the talk of every Damn sports show on tv and radio

I wouldn't be surprised. It's the NFL and those crazy things like that happen sometimes and it's good for the league.

TribalElder 01-12-2013 12:41 AM

Indeed. I think I heard a stat last week that said manning is 9-0 against the ravens all time. It will be lulz if he loses.

Edit

That stat looks wrong based on the googles
9 straight starts maybe

tk13 01-12-2013 12:42 AM

That's probably right. Manning has always played the Ravens really well as far as I recall. That would probably surprise people considering how good their D usually is. San Diego is the team that usually gives him fits.

RunKC 01-12-2013 12:52 AM

The weather channel says that it's supposed to be a high of 19 degrees during the day and 9 at night in Denver tomorrow, so it will probably be around 15 degrees at gametime.

Hopefully that will help stall the passing game which should give the Ravens a huge boost.

Denver is a lot more than just Peyton Manning. I mean we won a playoff game with Tim Tebow last year. Manning doesn't have to play perfect in order for us to win games. We don't rely on Manning to carry us to victory, he helps a lot, but our offense has had some stretches where we didn't really do much and then Trindon Holliday would get a return TD, or VONDOOM would get a sack fumble, or Bruton would block a punt, Chris Harris and Tony Carter would get a pick six, or Demaryius will take a screen 80 yards to the house. This isn't Indy, we are the best team Peyton Manning has ever played for.

The meltdown of a loss would be epic. "Tebow got us that far and at least he won a game"

Doubt Denver loses but it would be comical.

PornChief 01-12-2013 01:32 AM

Tim Tebow sure got some help with the steelers QB playing on one leg, half the O line taken out and missing their best corner but whatever. LOL @ 'best team Manning ever played for'. Pretty sure that team with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne beat more than 2 teams with winning records that season.

I know you like to make a habit of saying really off the wall things to rile people up, but this is probably the worst post you've ever made. He played on a team in Indy that won a Super Bowl, and another team that would've most likely gone undefeated in the regular season had they not pulled the starters at 14-0.

The AFC is terrible this year. Either one of those Colts teams would've dominated this year's AFC.

Thomas and Decker are every bit as good as Marvin and Reggie. They are arguably better because they are both 6-3 and 225 pounds but have great quickness for guys their size. Now we don't have anybody as good as Dallas Clark and Edge, but our OL is certainly better than any OL Peyton has ever had and Tamme, Dreessen and McGahee/Knowshon are all good players.

Our defense is worlds better than any D that Peyton has had.
