Uhhhh. how about just a restructure. He is probably the most underrated player in football right now. Yes, he got defensive player of the week, but Houston has gotten most of the pub, and lets not kid ourselves, Hali has been the best CHIEFS defensive player all year.

And that's saying something because guys like DJ, HOUSTON, POE, DEVITO, BERRY, have been playing their best ball of their careers.

Hali is that important to this team.

Hali's structure is pretty team friendly really. It allows us to totally cut bait in 2015 if we want to.

Fair enough. Id like to revisit this discussion then lol.

I mean, from what I have seen, and I have watched every single down of every single Chiefs game this year, he has been completely unblockable one on one.

And he is always coming from the left tackle side, which is also very impressive.

I'd take him up on this Hog Farmer. A slave for an unspecified quantity of hog jizz from an unspecified breed. Hell you could go jerk off a wild boar and trade it.

You don't give that up I don't believe.

Especially when you have wes welker in your division.

Those Colts, Giants, and Steelers championships come to mind. None of them had a great corner but all could get to the QB.

I would argue that when the Giants won both of their titles and the Steelers won their 2nd, both Corey Webster and Ike Taylor were considered to be around the "top 10" range.

While not elite (which varies based on the group), top 10 isn't exactly chopped liver (which I suppose also varies based on the chef. I wouldn't know, eating liver just sounds uncivilized).

Not a chance in hell...

Tryin to think of a guy that gets consistently disrespected more and dismissed more on the Chiefs than Flowers.

He's easily a top 10 CB in the NFL and those just don't grow on trees and you don't trade them away.

Jerm 10-16-2013 11:11 PM

Not to mention he's a leader, team player, restructured his deal and helped out, and seems to genuinely love the city and fans.

YUP TRADE HIM....

I like Flowers, really I do. But man, it just seems like he's getting thrown on all the time.

Have you ever noticed after each reception Flowers looks behind him every time like it wasn't his fault, he was expecting help or it was a push off, LOL.
