Any Jeep Wrangler owners?

The wife and I picked up a new (to us) 2016 Wrangler Sahara Back Country Unlimited the other day. Having never drove a Wrangler, I told her she wouldn't like it - however after 5 minutes in the Jeep, she said she "absolutely loved it" - so we bought it. I am having a blast with it here after a week in KC, and was curious if there are any other Wrangler owners here?!

I had a old CJ back in HS, fun as hell to drive, then the engine blew up and that was that.

Wish I had the time/money to restore one, because it was awfully fun while it lasted. Some of the builds on YouTube make me salivate.

No offense...I think the newer Wranglers are very meh. But I'm a Jeep guy always have been so have fun!

The inline-6 4.0L is still one of the best Jeep motors ever made.

Clay has a Jeep Liberty.

The gay Jeep.

I have some Wrangler jeans. Does that help?

Way back in the day, I had a 1974 CJ-5 Renegade with a 304 V8. That thing was a blast. It looked exactly like this, minus the aluminum wheels.

I have one and it is a blast to drive. However, as a daily driver, not so much. I would recommend it as a recreational vehicle though. I only drive it when its nice out and I take the top off.

It certainly isn't smooth or plush. I don't drive every day, heck I drive about 3 days a week - but I can see as a daily it would be a bit cumbersome.

I had zero problems and sold it at 148k...due to mpg. I did use it as a daily driver with no reservations.

If it’s not leaking fluids now it will be. Jeeps are great rec vehicles if you don’t mind working on them.

I have an 08 JK 2 door. Just bought it two weeks ago. Has 105k on it. Probably won’t put more than 4500 miles a year on it. They’re fun vehicles, especially when you can go doorless and topless. More of a rougher ride than most vehicles. I’ve already replaced the water pump and radiator cap. I’m sure I’ll be working on it here and there. Installing an upgraded sound system and just bought rims and tires for it. Already has a 2.5” lift on it.

Use to own a 14 JKU 4 door. I loved it as well but needed a truck. Now I have an 06 Tundra and the JK. Wife has an Equinox. Can’t wait for warm weather.

Got a 16 black bear two door. Only thing I don’t like is it’s an automatic because it’s the wife’s daily driver and she can’t drive a Manual. Drives like a dream in the snow and ice, hard top is quiet on the hwy, and easy to remove for summer
