Tribal Warfare 01-14-2013 12:46 AM

How the hell did September survive that hit to the heart when he supposedly died in Walter's arms.

DaneMcCloud 01-18-2013 12:29 AM

So, what's going to happen?

"Our heroes" ultimately go back in time and without Donald's/September's interference, Walter will find the cure to save Peter, who will ultimately marry Olivia and have their baby? And Walternate will have his son by his side, without the "invaders"?

It all seems so predictable...

It will reset time and Olivia and Peter never meet.

No way.

They'll "glance" at each other from a across a room and everything will "rush back" into their memories. They'll smile and that'll be the end.

It'll be lame.

I hope not. I don't want a neat little bow on this series. But, unfortunately, they will.

I will miss this show very much. it's one of the few shows I simply must see every week. this season hasn't been that great, but it's still a favorite of mine. so many cool episodes over the years. the white tulip was mentioned last week.....I thought that was a super cool episode.
my two cents - I think Walter will indeed die as has he has been told he must...but more specifically I think maybe he goes back and kills himself before he steals Peter from the other dimension in the first place.
anyways, I'll miss this show. I'm actually sad it won't be around anymore.

here's a decent article.

Yep, still in "burned" mode because of Lost.

Hope its not too lame but this last season has been very inconsistent.

nice find on the pic

well that ending was predictable. No surprises whatsoever. I guess thats par for the course for a great series that limped to the end.

Yep. lame.

What was up with the second hour having those video defects for the first 10 minutes?

keg in kc 01-21-2013 09:14 AM

I thought it was filled with great character moments that often got some dust in my eye and I liked the white tulip callback at the very end, but the plot/science/storyline problems with the episode were emblematic of the series' entire run. There were so many things in the last hour that would have made so much more of an impact if they'd been spread out over the whole season instead of just being what amounted to last minute revelations (all the stuff with Donald's emotional connection to Michael, etc).

That said, I'm sad that it's over, because we've lost yet another hour of high concept television, science fiction or otherwise. I'd rather watch one frustrating, even mediocre hour of Fringe than be subjected to 10,000 more hours of american idol, real housewives of wherever and bland cop/law/medical dramedy #3472.

Unfortunately most of the world disagrees. :(

For me, though, Fringe will be missed.

Same here :shake:

HBO/Showtime are the last bastions of anything good on TV.

DaneMcCloud 01-23-2013 01:47 PM

Finally watched it last night. How disappointing.

Agreed. There were issues I had, but in the end I liked the show enough to deal with them.
