Yeah, I'm definitely in.
|
wanted to see it since the first trailer i saw
|
Really really looking forward to this one
|
It doesn't strike me as being to Minority Report levels, but it also doesn't strike me as being a real Fifth Element stinker. I'll rate it as a solid Adjustment Bureau.

Obviously, I didn't care for it. Feel free to substitute in the awful near-future cyberpunk movie of your choice - maybe Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, or Barb Wire. They both qualify.

I love the idea of this flick.
All travel is simply the manipulation of energy to move. It just gets more complicated the more you want to move. |

Yay ... But most time travel movies just end up pissing me off. You really have to turn off your brain to be entertained.

The more I read about this movie, the more cluster****y it becomes. Will be interesting to see how they pull it off.

Saw this trailer as a commercial.
Thought it looked stupid just like "Jumper" was. Joseph Gordon Levitt seems to be a busy little beaver since his Dark Knight Rises role. |
This is getting insanely good reviews.
Count me in! |

I can't wait to see it Friday. Might catch The Master too, for an unconventional double-feature.

Nobody saw it today?

it was REALLY good
Bruce Willis kicks ass in this |
Just saw it. Best movie I've seen in a long time. Maybe a masterpiece, though I'll want to see it a few more times.

Good movie. But not even close to a masterpiece though. LMAO

Rian Johnson's released an in-theater mp3 commentary track.

Saw it, thought it was great and really appreciate how they promoted the movie. Without revealing anything, I think they were very smart in not giving away too much about the movie, even though you already know some of the basics just from watching the trailer.
|
OK, explain the ending to me.

I had originally said this was "great" over in the 'Movies' thread, but after giving it some more thought I have to retract that statement.
While I do like the fresh-ish idea concerning the use of time travel, but anytime you mess with time travel, you really just end up ****ing up continuity (see: Terminator).
Spoiler!
EDIT: It was a great watch, for sure, just not technically a great movie in my opinion.. |
Yeah, it's a good movie only and only if you don't actually think about it. When you do, it unravels quick.

Looks cool. This kid is in everything now. Did nothing for 10 yrs after 3rd rock. Good stuff.

I loved this one.

Episode VIII had better not disappoint

Plot holes, time-travelling mess-ups or not.. Looper is one of my favorites.
