This kind of reminds me of the non-support in Houston when the Oilers were leaving. A public gathering set up to keep the Oilers in Houston drew about the same number of people. Ouch. The personification of "fair-weather fans"?

While the Saints returned to New Orleans and prepared for their championship parade, just 11 people welcomed home the Super Bowl-losing Colts on Monday, according to the Indianapolis Star.

“Win or lose, they’re still our team,” said Karen Calhoun, who carried a “Where’s the parade” sign.

Unfortunately for Colts fans, the parade will be in New Orleans.

That story warms the cockles of my small Grinch-like Colt-hating heart. :D

They have to at least appreciate the great run they had this year.

I can picture about 10,000 people standing around in the wrong airport all dressed in their Colts gear, all wondering WTF is going on.

Well what in the **** do they expect?

Fans can be very fickle.

I bet it's because the fans sat all their starters at the end of the season.

And maybe another in Shreveport. Bob Dole might invest in the hour drive to watch that one, since they are proposing to have it this weekend along with the Mardi Gras stuff.

They're still mad at them for not going for 18-0

I heard that Indy was the 4th highest percentage viewership for the game righ behind N.O., Washington DC and Nashville. DC I guess I can get, they were buried in snow but why Nashville had a higher viewership than Indianapolis, who knows?

They should be like the Cubs, and hold their parades before they play in the post season.
