Adrian Peterson's son severely beaten (and has now died)

Adrian AP When reports emerged that Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed practice and traveled to South Dakota due to a “medical issue involving [a] young family member that likely will be a police matter,” several tipsters linked the news to reports from Sioux Falls of a man named Robert Joseph Patterson charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery of an infant, who is in critical condition. TMZ reports that the link indeed exists, and that Peterson’s two-year-old son is in critical condition after being severely beaten, allegedly by Patterson. Per the report, Peterson’s son suffered severe head injuries. We continue to wish Adrian Peterson and his family the best as they deal with, if the report is accurate, an unimaginable situation. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...cal-condition/ |
Wow. That's terrible. Just terrible.

They were alluding to something like this earlier. That's a terrible sitaution. What type of person can assault a child in that way?
|
Who the hell is this Patterson guy and how/why was he close to AP's son?
|

Time for Goodell to look the other way when reports come out of some guy named Patterson showing up in the ICU.

This dude needs to be curb stomped repeatedly

A f*****g animal AP should get to administer justice |

According to PFT Peterson has just returned to the Vikings facility.
|
Mr. Patterson should hope this becomes a police matter.
|
Shit man. AP gonna kill a dude.
|
Well this Patterson guy is a dead man. AP is scary. Rot in Hell.
|
Peterson will find someone in his crew to chop this guy's cock off.
He won't be around for much longer. |
WTF.
|
Happened to someone I knew. Baby's momma was dating some guy who's a piece of shit, leaves child alone with piece of shit, piece of shit beats kid nearly to death cause kid wouldn't stop crying. Massive and permanent damage done. The piece of shit got away with it too, because juries won't convict anyone anymore unless someone actually sees them do it.

I shouldn't be surprised at the depths to which human beings can sink, but yet, I still am sometimes. Disgusting.
|
Horrible can't even begin to think what he must be going through

"Getting convicted" and "Getting away with it" doesn't always have to be the same thing. |
Yeah...if AP goes and kills this dude, I can't say I'd blame him. I just hope that he'd do it in such a way that he couldn't be caught.
|
As a father to two small kids - I gotta say, this dude deserves whatever is coming to him.

I imagine when he gets back onto the field it'll be something like this:

AP and a few of his OL buddies need to go pay this guy a visit.
|
That guy needs to be put in a cage with a whole bunch of rabid chimpanzees. See how well he fares.

I wonder if AP knows any Patriot Tight Ends well enough.

Where's Aaron Hernandez when you need him? Oh that's right, he's busy at the moment. I wish the best for Adrian and his son.
|
Yeah.....everyone needs to look the other way while this guy "disappears".
|
Wow. So sad.. And probably couldn't have happened to a better dude either.
Dude was a 25 year old millionaire when he tore is knee to shreds and spent his New Years in the hospital recovering for the next season. Hes very religious and always praises God- I actually read a story recently that he was pissed off because a team had game planned specifically to sto him (and succeeded) so he was cursing. Apparently the dude doesn't even use curse words. In any case, I hope the kid recovers with no lasting effects. |

They should keep that dude in an induced coma and harvest his body parts.

I really think the poster that said AD should be able to take the law in his own hands is right on. Or maybe hire Hernandez to do it.... After they let Sandusky have his way with him.

Wow. with a comment like that I see why his name is prison bitch. That kinda shit isn't needed here, or anywhere for that matter.
I feel so bad for the child, AP and his family. It enrages me to think about it. The guy deserves whats coming and then some. Hope the little guy is ok. |

Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son—not Adrian Peterson Jr., but a formerly "secret" child—is "not expected to survive his injuries," and could be taken off life support tonight, City Pages reports. On Wednesday, the Sioux Falls boy was allegedly beaten by his mother's boyfriend, Joseph Robert Patterson, 27, who has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault on an infant.
