The Chiefs won't. |
We only get Alex Smith for 1/8.5

we don't deserve this
it is not fair...30 years without drafting a QB in the first round this can not be happening |

that's not hyperbole...never Clark is a pussy...he doesn't want a QB so we are NEVER going to draft one in the first we the #1 pick and the worst QB in the league, and haven't drafted a QB in 30 years...and all of that is not enough for a pussy like Clark to pull the trigger never |

I'm not coming around anymore guys.
I can feel as good punching myself in the nuts every ten minutes as the chiefs can make me feel and if I'm punching myself at least I know exactly what's coming Posted via Mobile Device |
Well you can pretty much lock this thread and kiss Geno goodbye.

I would cry right now, but I'm too depressed to muster up the energy.

Mooch interview knocked him down a peg for me.
|
Ouch, that was rough.

What happened in that interview?

He looked stumped a couple times there. Rough outing that time for sure. Will be interesting to see what happens during the Gruden stuff.
|
Charles Davis says he's the clear #1 QB now.
Kurt Warner was "impressed". And we are talking about Alex Smith. |
Seemed much more rehearsed and not as genuine as I hoped he would be in his interviews.

Might as well lock this thread. Good while it lasted.

After we don't draft him I'll look forward to him going to Oakland and beating our asses.

Geno with Mooch

That was nowhere near as bad as you guys made it out to be.

I'm not saying it was horrible. I'm not running around talking about locking the thread and saying he is suddenly taken down a notch based off a 5 minute clip. But it wasn't his best stuff. |

I would've said something along the lines of, "my drug is working hard and leading and inspiring my teammates to achieve the absolute highest level possible in an effort to be the greatest team possible, as long as I'm able to bring that kind of thing to my team, then I believe anything is possible", or something to that extent. The way Mooch said it was fairly tricky. |

TJ Carpenter @TJCarpenterWHB
The Chiefs are very impressed with Geno Smith at this point, skeptical of Wilson, and most likely out on Ryan Nassib... more in a bit. |

I can't handle this shit anymore. |
I'm afraid this thread will be like the Dewey victory party when Alex goes to the Chiefs and Geno goes to the Raiders.

I love you, Peno.
See you soon. http://prod.images.chiefs.clubs.nflc...960&height=720 http://prod.images.chiefs.clubs.nflc...960&height=720 |

Mike Klis @MikeKlis
Knock the QBs all you want, Geno Smith must go No. 1 to KC (even if he backs up Alex Smith) and Arizona must take Matt Barkley at No. 7. Mike Klis @MikeKlis Andy Reid: Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Luke Joeckel? Now try this: McNabb, Vick, Geno Smith. |
lol Mike Klis is playing the "which one doesn't look like the others" game.

No one is going to answer that question with "COCAINE." Geno's reaction was a little scary. He looked a LITTLE BIT guilty. |
Draft Geno. Enough is enough. I don't think my heart can take waiting until April.

Geno comes off as slightly naive in these things, that's my only concern.
He doesn't have Barkley's presence. Geno seems to want to be way too cautious with his answers. It's minor but it bugs me a little. But better this than JaMarcus Russell traits. |
What else is tj carpenter saying?

It should be noted, as reports on Cassel being cut, reports on Alex Smith being traded to the Chiefs are premature. Nothing is in stone. |

Yup. The only thing that is sure is we are taking the guy who can bullseye womprats in his T-16 while running a 4.56....no brainer. |

...he is simply going against the grain with his report. I am not going to get my hopes up until one of the big wigs try to win some brownie points by reporting we are high on Geno and not Alex. |

So I was expecting some horrible thing after hearing how bad the Mooch interview was.
I guess I just watched another interview. Because that wasn't bad. |

Breaking News:
I am now officially on the draft Geno bandwagon. I've been thoroughly impressed with his athleticism at the combine, his demeanor, how he works with the media. I think the guy has a great skillset, he seems very coachable, and I like the way he represents himself as well as how he presents himself. I wasn't a Nassib fan either, but I think his draft stock has improved on my board as well. I think if we end up landing Alex Smith for a 4th or even a 3rd, we still draft Geno. I feel like it is an even better sign that we'll draft Geno IF we trade for Alex, because I feel like that is Reid's way of getting a stop gap in here so we can truly invest in Geno. |

He didnt know what to say when Mooch asked him about drug of choice...as you said, he looked a little guilty. Like BANG BANG BANG ITS THE COPS OPEN UP kinda look on his face. Then, a few minutes later he showed that Geno has poor short term memory. For me, that's another + for Geno...but John Dorsey and Reid might not see it that way... |
