Hancock Building has better views.

Science Museum rocks it like Mlyonsd says.

If you hit the bars and are out late and need a bite at 3 am I'd recommend the Tempo Cafe on Chestnut. Its the only thing open and only takes cash. Great omelets. I've only been there drunk off my ass, but it was great.

If you want to see the country's oldest toilet, head to 1060 West Addison Street.

Never had it, but that's the great thing about them, huge menu, all delicious! Potbelly's(in Midway BTW) opened a store here on campus, I wish Portillo's would do the same.

Awesome trip, the advice I got from the planet was extremely helpful Thanks!

Got to cap it off with a Seahawks OT victory at Soldier Field on a 65 degree December day (no kidding)

Gibson's steakhouse.....can't wait to go back there.

Their prime rib is about half the size of a cow's ass

Ditkas was good too, I had the Prime Rib and my buddy had a steak called the "tomahawk" Flintstone type steaks.

Harry Caray's restaurant was good, we went there a few years ago. The sandwiches are so big two people can split them. It was crowded, but we were there right at the noon lunch rush. Right when you go in, there's a small lobby of tons of autographed pictures like Ditka and MJ.

We went to Giordano's and it was WAY worth it.

Here's some advice:

Don't take your kids to the St. Patrick's Day parade. ROFL

I'm a big fan of the Shedd Aquarium too.

I've been there once on business. Got to Wrigley and saw a Cubs game, and went to Navy Pier. I'd recommend both.

The city itself was cool as hell, IMO. I'm a small town guy, and I really enjoyed it.

Ditto. Did that this summer. The Hancock and Willis tower will set you back like $35 each to go up it. It was a little foggy (hurricane Isaac reminants) when we went up, but it was still very cool and very much worth it.

The Pier is cool. Wrigleyville is cool, but that was a game day too.

People watching on the train, and tons of good eating in and around the loop. We walked into Bella Bachino (it was really busy and they made it sound like we really should have made reservations) but I can't complain about the food there. It was definitely good.
