So I guess Tomb Raider DE is available in a lot of gamestops. Probably picking it up today. Anyone else? I never played the original edition.

I was thinking of trading in some of my games to get it. I don't play Forza, Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Madden so I was thinking of getting rid of one or two of them. I beat the original version but it's such a great game.

Picked it up and wow. Best looking game I have played yet.

Really surprised it's the best liking yet. Seems like all they did was remap the textures. Can't believe it has that high of qualify. Makes me even more disappointed in the quality of games I've played so far.

Im not disappointed in all honesty. This was to really be expected.

It happened at first with the Xbox 360. I loved Gears of War, and Halo 3, but really, were the graphics that much better than what was on the Xbox? I have gone back and played Halo and halo 2, and the graphics weren't that much better on Halo 3. The maps were just better.

Shrugs. I expect the next wave of games to be phenomenal starting for me with Kingdom Hearts 3.

The next Uncharted, MGS, Infamous, The Last of Us and the debuts of The Division, Watch Dogs etc

Even though I support consoles it's still a shame games like Infamous, Dead Rising etc.. still run 30 fps.

At least they're releasing the teaser mini game this spring to get people used to the new style of truly open environment game play- a ton more interactive with your surroundings as well as no set path to your mission, meaning you can vary the order of when and how you achieve your objectives.
Also, means the next full release should take it up a notch to take advantage of the next generation capabilities.

I think it could have run at 60, they just weren't creative enough.

The New MGS is supposed to be open world, fantastic graphics and environment and it runs at 1080p 60 fps.

I believe that was part of the reason for the delay in its release. Once the new systems were announced, they went back to the drawing board to take full advantage of the new platform. Good for them, and I like they're releasing a teaser mission to tied people over and get a chance to see how the new engine and game will play.

I like that Hideo waited for enough PS4's to be on the market to release. The dude rushes his art for no-one. One of the best for sure.
