Cleveland had no chance. What did they 'punt' exactly? Does anyone think they were finishing better than last WITH Richardson?

Jim Brown was right after all.

Browns fighting Jaguars over 1st pick now.

They're going to have a tough time being worse than Jacksonville; and Jacksonville will take Him unless Cleveland is already bartering with both #1s.

Nah, they want Bridgewater.

Read this whole thread. Trying to make sense of this trade. Very confused.

I'm just stoked that my 1st round fantasy pick is going to a team with a real offense!

I’m in the exact same boat.
I think, more like hope, Bradshaw is still good for a week or two though. Richardson won’t start right away, it’ll take at least a week for him to learn enough of the playbook to start taking snaps from Bradshaw.

Dunno if this has been mentioned yet, but apparently Trent learned he was traded when he heard it on the radio:

Trent also said a friend called, said "You've been traded?" he told him to shut up & hung up. Turned on radio and learned he'd been dealt.

The Browns definitely got the upside of this trade. Considering the Colts many needs on the O line, this is too much for too little. Hell, they could have traded the pick down and got more value. Richardson for a 2nd, yes, a 1st? nope.

You're not going to get a chance if you keep trading your best player. They're back to square one, version 4.0

 Wow. And we felt bad for Gunther.

Colts fans should be furious right now.

The Colts did just fine with this trade...Richardson is more valuable than a mid first round pick. The Colts needed a RB to give Luck some options...everybody just tees off on the pass now.

Who knows if Cleveland can turn their collection of picks into a real QB? I thought Weeden was supposed to be THAT guy?

Bad franchise...bad team...this was a stupid trade for Cleveland and the Colts just got a lot better.

Pure speculation.

I feel like it's hard to be an efficient runner when you're essentially a team's only threat, and any other potential threats are limited by having a shitty quarterback.

I mean, Jamaal Charles can do it, but not everybody's Jamaal Charles.
