I wonder if Watkins was promoted, because Schwartz is moving into the starting lineup and we need a new swingman.

Andy Reid said he was promoted because another team was set to sign him to their 53.

Schwartz might be fine in place of Asamoah, but I'd rather see Rishaw Johnson in place of Jeff Allen.

I don't think Schwartz is an upgrade on the left side, as sad as that is to type.

If Reid isn't playing his best players because he's more concerned with the "swing" guys, it'll really harsh my mellow.

I'm basing that off of Stephenson playing some G during the offseason and mini camp and I don't think he would hesitate playing him at G now. But that's my best guess too that he is worried because he is his best backup OT. Albert has come out with minor dings but returned. And with Fisher struggling I'd guess that's holding them back putting Stephenson at G. Just a guess though.

He has given the OL 8 and now 9 games to gel without jugling things. It's been the same 5 since Mini camp. I agree with what you said earlier about the bye week being time to really consider shaking things up with the OL
