Lethal Weapon

Anyone watch this tonight on FOX I believe it was the season premier. I thought it was pretty damn good will watch again. Damon Wayans was funny and the actor playing the Mel Gibson part was perfect just the right amount of crazy. Its the first so no telling if they can keep this fresh but I will defiantly check back in on it.

Haven't watched yet but have it recorded. Reviews were surprisingly not too negative.

Evidently the exorcist reboot tomorrow is good, as well.

I thought it was pretty good, too. It's not high brow but it wasn't cheesy, either.

These days, I'm happy with something in the middle.

All I want to know is if the white guy eats dog biscuits.

So are they just gonna start making movies into tv shows now?

Is that the new hot thing in Hollywood now?

Didn't they try this w/ "Rush Hour" ? How the **** is this any different?

Yeah, it's the same exact writers, actors, producers and story.

that's kind of where I'm at with it. We watched it with low expectations, but I liked it. The guy that plays Riggs is a damn good choice.

still trying to wrap my head around Wayan's as Murtough (sp?). Though, I guess I could get used to it.

I liked how the somewhat copied how the movie started in terms of back story etc.

Hard to believe, but Wayans is 56 currently and Danny Glover was 40 when the original Lethal Weapon film came out in 1987

Dayze 09-23-2016 09:38 PM

yeah, I think that's the part I can't wrap my pea brain around. I always think of Wayan's as like a 35 year old.

Deberg_1990 09-24-2016 09:57 AM

watched it last night and it was better than i was expecting. Production values were top notch.

I really liked Wayans and whoever the guy was playing Riggs. Good choice.
