Also spoke to someone who was in Clark's suite at the game. Says clark visibly upset and irate with the play on Sunday. #chiefs

I guess he's not as adept to see the real progress that Romeo saw...

Pretty sure he's been to the home games this year at least...

The INT's were bad enough, but then he goes and audibles into a QB sneak, and fumbles the ball in the endzone. Wonder if he didn't audible into every pass he threw on Sunday...

ROFL

I don't know about that.

I did notice that he audibled INTO a draw or run on at least two occasions ... both of which were really long-yardage situations. If I remember correctly, one of them was like a 3rd and 17 or something. We were in a flanker-back set and shotgun. The back had to re-position himself pre-snap and took the ball on the draw. I think we got 3 yards, maybe. It really was like a Twilight Zone kind of deal ... "The Quarterback From Turnover Hell Who Will Not Pass The Ball" ... I mean, spooky.

Jesus, Joseph, Mary, and all the Saints above ... when will this nightmare end?

And when he does throw on 3rd and 17, it's a five yard pass or a pass behind the line of scrimmage. Maddening as all hell that he keeps getting trotted out there though.

Wonder if pioli was with him?

Yes, from very credible sources. Clark didn't think he had a shot in hell. It's like the nerd and the prom queen in high school. Clark is the ****ing nerd. Pioli makes him a lot of money, and runs the basic franchise day to day.

This is a Franchise that has basically ignored THE most important position in this game for over 30 years and NOW someone is getting mad about the play of the team. :deevee:

I guess we will see if this is really true or not. Take control of your business then Clark!

Agreed, but Clark doesn't view Pioli as a problem. That could change, and I really do believe this is Cassel's last year here. I'm fairly sure that Pioli will be still the GM of this team at this time next year.

I would say that's probably correct, have said so myself, but I think Clark will step in and make sure we draft a qb high.

Can Pioli pull it off though?

At this point I don't trust it. How could Clark after watching what happened yesterday

I wouldn't trust Pioli drafting anything. He put the franchise in this position with his arrogant ways. No one wants to coach here except people from the tree.

We are too limited in the decision making for me to ever trust Pioli with the keys again.

hometeam 10-08-2012 07:43 PM

I promise you the banner, the sign at the entrance to arrowhead, and the outburst after the game have Clark and Pioli shaken. I promise you they have had a closed door meeting about it at some point today.

The questions is, what happened in that meeting? Did Clark ream Pioli and commit to himself and the franchise to win? Or did Pioli once again come up with padded stats and reassuring coos for Chunt?

DaWolf 10-08-2012 07:43 PM

I'm with Mellinger in thinking that got Hunt it really isn't all about the money. Hunt is smart. He knows that with wins and championships comes national notoriety, a national fanbase, merchandise sales, marketability, etc. But it all goes back to winning. Again, hindsight is what it is, but he went out at the time and got the No 1 GM on everyone's list. You don't do that if your intent is just to make money.

I suspect if things don't turn around quickly, he'll force Pioli out after the year, or force him to go get a QB...

You see and that's the part that scares me. Yes this organization's #1 problem is the unwillingness to draft a QB but that's not the only problem.

Romeo Crennel is painfully outmatched as a HC. We all can see he's not the long term answer there right? So what are we going to do? Fire him after our rookie QB's 1st season? Great. Then there's another new system to learn.

No it would be best off to start fresh. Pioli hasn't earned the right to hire his 3rd HC & pick our next QB. Particularly after believing Cassel is the guy.
