The Kansas City Chiefs will be without a number of players in the all important third preseason game. Chiefs coach Andy Reid told the media on Wednesday that the following players will NOT play on Friday against Seattle:

Sam Ficken should step in at kicker for Cairo Santos again. I’m hoping this won’t be a thing that affects his availability for the season opener.

I’m not surprised that G Parker Ehinger isn’t playing considering he just came off the PUP list this week. Additionally, CB Terrance Mitchell has been hurt for a while so no surprise he’s not participating. It’s getting close enough to the opener that I’m concerned about how long Mitchell has been out.

It’s too bad that WR Seantavius Jones won’t play. He has had a good offseason and some people are predicting that he makes the 53-man roster. When you’re on the bubble, missing a game isn’t ideal.

Tony Romo is out as well...

Looking forward to seeing Berry, Chris Jones and Roy Miller play.

Will this be the first mystery injury to move a bubble player to the IT?

I'm looking at Seantavius.

If Gaines is out there they'll target him and no one else, just like every game he played in. #1 liability and isn't even close.

Besides Nelson and Peters who is our next best corner of Mitchell can't play. Bausby? Acker? White?

Houston may have to drop back into coverage

Please no. I still have nightmares of him covering Antonio Brown 50 yards downfield in the playoff game

Moving him to corner

If it gets that bad, put Parker at CB

It's weird. He is below average as a corner but is a top 5 FS

Not weird at all.

Just keep Ficken as the permanent kicker and cut Santos
