I think I need to change the filter in my air purifier... my allergies are acting up.

(RNN) - What would you do if you knew your pet was going to die? One owner decided to give his dog one last awesome meal before saying goodbye.

Reddit user Nikolaoss posted the story and video of his roommate's boxer, Lennox, as he enjoyed his last meal.

man......I'm going to be a wreck when putting down my dogs.

It might be easier if they're in pain or quality of l ife is horrible, but still brutal nonetheless.

I'd probably do something like this; my dogs love beef jerkey, ham etc. They don't get it very often at all, but I'd hook them up big time.

..my Lab loved iced tea for some reason lol. I let her drink it out of a glass too.

My boys are getting a big steak with bacon and a beer.:thumb:

My 6 year old male boxer has a couple of bumps, one on his shoulder/chest area. I've been thinking it may be cancer but haven't taken him to the vet. It's gonna be real tough the day I have to put him down. I may have to do a last meal like this, too. And beer. He loves beer.

my Lab has a bump too; basically a cyst. aside from her licking it/nibbling on it, it's fine. sometimes she'll go to town on it and make it bleed a bit, so we have to watch her on that; and just scratch the bump ourselves.

Not going to watch. I have a boxer. He's been my best bud for 7 years, but he's getting old. Don't want to answer questions as to why I'm crying in the office.

If only we treated humans so well

Not so much into veggies was he/she.

It's been over a year since I put my dog down. 16 1/2 years old and it was very hard. Had him since he fit in my hand.

I wish I could've done the same for my beagle. That dog was the greatest.....

Died way too young

We only treat the worst ones that well (Death row). Cancer patients, in their last stages, tend to have an aversion to bacon (or any other succulent delicacy), before they die.

I'm sorry about his dog, but look at all that food. First world problems

My Boston died in December. But he lived in Colorado. It's not going to hit me until I go back out there to visit the family. Still hasn't fully hit me.
