So Going to NO for the Superbowl....

First time in New Orleans...any suggestions for places to see, food, etc? Before anyone says it, I'll be sure to try the Cajun Antifreeze

Thanks!

Get a hand grenade drink on Bourbon Street. You can thank me later. Food all of it is pretty damn good. Bring cash, lots of places on Bourbon Street didn't take cards. Try to keep just cash, id, and credit card with you. No need for a wallet.

yeah it sucks I've seen a lot of violence over the past couple of years at Candlestick...tickets are relatively cheap so you get all kinds at the games. Amounts to <1% but we still get stuck with the "violent fans" tag. Probably will all change with the new stadium in 2014.

What do you want to know?

Harrah's Casino if you gamble

Most people will direct you to the tourist places that they see on Travel Channel, Food Network etc.

Where are you staying?

DonTellMeShowMe 01-23-2013 10:58 PM

Flying into Houston fyi lol. Staying like 4 miles from the French Quarters. Only have a few days there so honestly not interested in the "touristy" things. If I could get some "insider" tips on the quick things to see that would be awesome. Also, my first SB so any tips there would be awesome too.

So you already have the Cajun antifreeze on your list.

Did you book a room in the Aids Hotel?
