McCluster had to leap for it because Alex was thinking he was throwing to Bowe.

You are easily appalled. Good thing we are 8-0.

hmmmm... Id say hes doing okay.

Seen how Matt Ryan, and Tom Brady have looked today?

Absolutely AWFUL.

Great qbs need weapons. Average, or mediocre, or above average qbs depending on your view of Alex Smith, need weapons.

If it wasn't such a weapons issue to me, I would say okay you are right. The options are limited. If they weren't so limited then why are people clamoring so hard for Josh Gordon, Justin Blackmon, and Tony G?

The weapons are fine right?

The offense as a whole, is a fail.

I really don't care what brady and ryan do since they aren't on the chiefs and they aren't on the teams we are playing against

and yeah, i know that the oline isn't the best

and yeah, i know we don't have beast receivers

but come on, i really expect a little better than THAT

early on in the season he was taking what the defense was giving him. he's been missing those lately.

Would have liked to see how today would have played out had Alex Smith not missed on what should have been an incredibly easy TD pass to Fasano in the first half.

That's ****ing Smith in a nutshell thus far with the Chiefs; fail, punctuated with excuses.

He ****ing sucks. Period. When he's running with the ball, he's at his best. When he has to rely upon his arm (like a QB), he ****ing sucks.

Not disagreeing and saying that Alex Smith is above reproach.

Not surprised at the production to be honest.

Hes not a top tier qb. Surround not top tier qbs with garbage, and you get garbage. I think the effort to upgrade the offensive talent on the Chiefs in the offseason will be telling.

DeezNutz 10-27-2013 04:33 PM

The only "garbage" potentially surrounding Smith is at TE and OL, and the team invested 1/1 to improve the latter.

Yep. Just completely ordinary, and at times can't make the simplest of plays.
