ESPN Playoff Machine: Pick the playoff seedings

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

I tried my best to be rational and thoughtful for every game and came up with an interesting scenario that as far as anybody's guess goes is my most likely outcome:

AFC:
1. New England (12-4)
2. Denver (12-4)
3. Indianapolis (10-6)
4. Cincinnati (9-7)
5. Kansas City (12-4)
6. Miami (9-7)

NFC:
1. New Orleans (12-4)
2. Seattle (12-4)
3. Dallas (10-6)
4. Green Bay (9-6-1)
5. Carolina (11-5)
6. Arizona (10-6)

We are playing more like a 9-7 team- might be able to take the skins- so 10-6 maybe.

I have us winning this Sunday. Because **** Denver.

Our losses are at Oakland (2-game road trips suck) at at San Diego.

I ****ing hate you

I think we can win out if we beat Denver. The only other game that concerns me is Indy. The @ SD game is going to be a revenge ass kicking.

ThaVirus 11-26-2013 04:49 PM

It's gonna be tough sledding for whichever teams get the 3 and 4 seed in the NFC. I'd put my money on the Panthers, Cardinals and 49ers putting a whooping on the Cowboys/Eagles and the Lions/Bears.

San Diego will be out of playoff contention by time we get to the last game of the season. They will be playing for nothing and we will be playing for playoff seeding.

And, hopefully, Hali and Houston will both be back because we did okay on Sunday with them in there. Once they left, the wheels fell off . . . .

I'm less worried about Indy. They might be the slowest starting team in the NFL right now.

I don't think we win out - we'll lose one more after the Denver game.

Denver is a must win...

I tried to be optimistic and we still end up at 5th.

**** Denver. **** them right in the ****ing ass.

Losing last week was the nail in our coffin for the # 1 seed. With Denver going down, or at least was expecting them to lose, we needed that game cushion. If Dallas would have taken care of Denver I would feel a whole lot better by now.

Alex is going to have to lose his skirt to carry this team down the stretch, now more than ever with Hali & Houston down and gimpy.

All we can do is take it 1 game, 1 week at a time.

ChiefRocka 11-26-2013 05:50 PM

Do we not control our own destiny still??

dlawilliams 11-26-2013 05:53 PM

I think Pittsburg or Baltimore that will end up the 6 seed in the afc

The Steelers future is in their hands. They are only 2 games out of 1st place.

They play the Browns, Ravens, Dolphins, and Bengals.

They can help themselves while hurting 4 playoff contenders...
