He now has 12,258 career passing yards. Cassel’s Day: QB Matt Cassel completed 23 of 42 passes for 301 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. The effort marked Cassel’s seventh-career 300-yard passing game. Cassel also recorded two rushes for 25 yards (12.5 avg.). 20-Plus Yard Completions: With five passes of 20 or more yards in today’s contest, Cassel now has 103 career passes of 20 or more yards. He joins former Chiefs QBs Trent Green (274) and Elvis Grbac (133) as the only Chiefs passers with more than 100 career completions of 20 yards or more. Bowe’s Day: WR Dwayne Bowe recorded eight catches for 102 yards (12.8 avg.) with two touchdowns to lead all Chiefs receivers. He recorded touchdown receptions of 33 yards and two yards. The game marked the 14th 100-plus receiving yard game of Bowe’s career and was his eighth-career multi-TD game. The pair of touchdowns marked his first two receiving scores of 2012 and he now has 38 touchdown receptions for his career. 150-Yard Rushing Efforts: The Chiefs accumulated at least 150 yards rushing as a team for the secondstraight week with 150 yards on the ground at Buffalo. Last week, the Chiefs racked up 152 yards vs. Atlanta (9/9). Hillis Paces Ground Attack: RB Peyton Hillis carried the ball 11 times for 66 yards (6.0 avg.) to lead the Chiefs ground attack. RB Shaun Draughn added 56 yards on five carries (11.2 avg.) in the game. |
