Reports from KJR 950 Seattle says the Maloof brothers are finalizing the sale of the Kings to Chris Hansen of Seattle. Hansen has already finalized an arena deal with Seattle, and King County. Great news for Seattle basketball fans.

The Maloofs are finalizing an agreement to sell the Sacramento Kings to the Hansen-Ballmer led Seattle group, sources tell Yahoo! Sports.

The deal will sell the Kings for approximately $500 million, with the Seattle group seeking relocation to Key Arena for the 2013-'14 season.

No agreement signed, but one source describes deal as "1st and goal at 1." Maloofs history of changing course late still makes many uneasy.

Kansas City's problem is we never had an ownership group. Not exactly AEG's fault there.

Meh, it's one of the top 5 busiest arenas in the nation.

Big money in having a seat over there.

KC had a outside chance until Oklahoma City got a team.

Sucks for them. They could've had Westbrook/Durant.
Instead they will have the Kings lineup.

This is awesome. I wanted to root for Sacramento when they drafted Thomas Robinson, but it's ****ing Sacramento. I like Seattle so much more.

Is it weird that my top 2 favorite teams might end up being the Thunder and the new Sonics?

As part of this deal, the NBA should send Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison to Seattle and send the the Kings roster to OKC.....ya know, since the SUPERSONICS drafted all of those players and got them stolen away.

Can you imagine if the Chiefs drafted our QBOTF who turns into an elite NFL player only to have a team from cowtown OKC steal them from us?

I really feel for the Sonic fans. At least they are getting their team back.
