Cosby's my favorite as well.

Though it seems odd to have those 2 as your favorites - they couldn't be more different, really.

Carlin in the latter years was a little too political and a little too angry for me. He definitely changed. But he still had his moments. I enjoyed this one.

You know, as much as he has struggled to not make a POS movie, you'd think he'd try this.

Carlin rocked. So did Dangerfield.

Donger 03-09-2011 12:52 PM

Schimmel at Dangerfield's. Most definitely NSFW:

I think I know why he never showed it.

so what was actually wrong with that Hicks video on Letterman? I didnt know that video was modern Letterman looking back on it until the end (I skipped the beginning with the older lady).

At the end Letterman himself couldnt even justify why it was banned especially by todays standards. Was that Letterman indirectly admitted he might have been a douchebag 16 years ago lol?

If you haven't heard Hicks' "Dark Poet," get your ears around it some time. It's painful but fascinating to hear the man try to work against a crowd that clearly can't stand his presence.

Good call. He was one of my favorites. He and Brad Delp (lead singer of Boston) killed themselves a day apart a couple of years ago. That was a shitty weekend. :(

I think the problem with Eddie Murphy is that he's such a complete uptight prick now that he simply doesn't want to deal with the "little people," and that includes performing in front of them. I don't even know if he could connect with an audience anymore. His last stand up show, Raw, wasn't nearly as good as his first two, and it was mainly just a two hour rant about him getting ****ed over by some woman. And that was back in the late 80s.
