He was the best RB I have ever seen play the game. Power and speed combined in one player that has never been seen before or since. AND the fugger could play baseball too?!?

yeah, he was a great athlete. Jim Thorpe is the only guy I can think of that would be in the same discussion.

I know you may be sarcastic about lacrosse but they made a major rule change in lacrosse because of him. When you are so good they have to change the rules that says something.

BO KNOWS

I forgot about that, and in retrospect, I think he did both. It was like a cheap Chinese made toothpick to him. The guy had muscles on his muscles, with the talent to match.

Of course he is....there's never been an athelete that's dominated the way he did in 2 professional sports leagues.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-05-2013 11:01 AM

Prime Time almost did, but of all things he wasn't as fast.

Predarat 03-05-2013 01:03 PM

I bet Bo could play hockey too.

I have a Bo Jackson story that for some reason, doesn't get a lot of press.

At a Royals game one time, I swear I saw Bo snag a line drive to left field on the run, backhanded, with his bare hand.

We all just kind of went .

Hard to believe Bo Jackson is 60 years old today, happy birthday to one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Rain Man 11-30-2022 04:29 PM

He's no Patrick Mahomes II.

scho63 11-30-2022 04:39 PM

Bo Jackson is no Bo Derek.
