Kurt Vonnegut Was Compassionate
 

Friend of mine sent me this. It's a letter posted by a lady who corresponded with Kurt Vonnegut in 1990. Here's a link:

Vonnegut is basically my favorite ever.

I would say his books should be required reading, but I don't think he'd like his books forced upon anybody.

Those scribbles looks a little suspect....

It's an image of him in profile. Vonnegut's scribbles in his book are awesome. Here for example, is his drawing of an asshole:

He was a true humanist and truly compassionate to his fellow men and women.

He truly called it like it is, in his own unique style. One of the finest American writers ever, in my opinion.

The scribbles are authentic for sure. His books are full of similar illustrations done like that.
