When will NFL teams realize that Marty and Hacket are

bums in the playoffs? These guys are just good enough to lose in the playoffs. Afraid to let it hang out there when the game is on the line. Classic example in OT. Marty runs twice and dumps a screen for no gain. Hacket needs 10 and Pennington throws a TE in the flat and gets two. Why would you even have a player run a two yard pattern? Yes the missed field goals in both games were killer but the games were lost in OT and partially because they don't go for the kill when they must.

Pathedic.

I could not believe the way the Jet offense " hunkered down " when they got in position for the 47 and 43 yard Field Goal attempts. What were they thinking? They did not even try to move the ball closer. It was as though they felt they had a gimme! If they would have gained ten more yards they would have increased their chances immeasurably...and they did not even try! They should not lay any blame on Brien. All the blame should go on play selection!!!

No doubt about it.

The Jets didnt really need to go on in the playoffs and be embarrassed by the winner of the Colts/Patriots.

When your offense can only muster 3 freaking points, you dont deserve to advance.

Paul Hackett has been doing the same crap for years, and it STILL doesnt work. 2nd and 10 he goes deep over the middle, and on 3rd and 10 he throws the 2 yard pass. Ive never been able to figure that out. You need 10 yards, and dont even draw up a play to even get close to that mark.

Their offensive performance was absolutely horrendous, and if it had not been for the outstanding play of the special teams and the defense, this game wouldnt have been close. Pittsburgh did everything they could to try to lose that game, but Hackett just gave two opportunities to win the game away by leaving it up to the kicker from long range on a field that is not friendly to kickers.

With the players that they have on offense, there is absolutely no excuse for not being able to score more than 3 points. Hackett should be fired because obviously he doesnt know how to take advantage of having guys like Curtis Martin, Chad Pennington, Santana Moss, and Justin McCariens.

Pittsburgh didnt deserve to win and I have a hard time seeing them beating a team that actually wants to win.

They play not to lose instead of to win. That's fine for the regular season when games are not all or nothing. In the playoffs, keeping a good team close gives them a chance to win. I saw it too many times against Dan Marino and the Dolphins.
