Cheering an injury is wrong, period. If you want to cheer Quinn coming out then fine, but don't cheer an injury. I think there was a little of both.

Titty Meat 10-07-2012 03:23 PM

Yes.

DeezNutz 10-07-2012 03:28 PM

Pioli has driven us to this; it's all own our fraudulent GM.

stonedstooge 10-07-2012 03:28 PM

I thought it was the Chiefs sideline that was cheering

DaFace 10-07-2012 03:29 PM

Wrong? Kind of. But people were really just cheering because Cassel got pulled from the game, which should have happened three weeks ago. If that had happened, there wouldn't have been anything to cheer about.

Agreed. Cheering an injury is wrong, period. Unfortunately, this regime's bullheaded refusal to admit what the rest of the football world sees led to such frustration.

If Pioli has driven you to something... you're just as psycho as he is. Sorry. People are losing their minds a bit I think.

Be a little less literal and a little more metaphoric, Luke.

I am, Darth. People have lost their minds. They'd actually probably have a lot more effect on what happens to this franchise if they stopped caring. Instead we're slipping toward insanity, and after today Pioli and Crennel have obviously decided the only response is stick their flag in the sand and be even more insane.

Wrong Luke, Hoch.

Wanting Cassel benched is one thing, cheering when he gets hurt is another. Yes it was wrong, and extremely poor form.

Well if that's the best you can do on this topic, good for you. Quality effort.

Titty Meat 10-07-2012 03:59 PM

I'm just glad Winston came out and talked about it instead of focusing on the team being 1-4. It's great when a player is more focused on the fans than results. Romeo has this team focused.

People not caring will have little impact this season, since season tickets have already been purchased and TV revenue is stable.

For the fans to have any hope for immediate or "quick" change, their voices will have to be heard. Banners, bags, etc. These are viable means of getting the message across.

Overall, I actually agree with Winston's comments. Cheering an injured player is classless, but it's embarrassing from the organization's standpoint that it's been allowed to reach this point.
