Looking at our schedule it's hard to argue the NFL doesn't want us to have a shot at the playoffs...

How do you figure? The teams are essentially predetermined.

Giants and Texans in KC.

5 of the first 8 in KC and 3 of the last 4 on the road, but 2 of those are Oak and SD - teams that likely will be done and putting up zero fight.

I never said they'd get destroyed at PHI... both teams have had a bit of change and it's week 3 in PHI on Thursday night. I'm just saying in these types of situations where teams are in these situations, the nod typically goes to the home team. Lots of story lines for sure in this one.

You guys act like you've never seen an NFL season take place before. Every year, there are 5-6 new playoff teams from the previous year. It's hilarious seeing every offseason people act like it's going to play out like the year prior.

Tom Heckert blew a .165 seven hours after he was arrested.

Matt Russell blew a .25! He's lucky he didn't die.

Five or six is a bit of an exaggeration. Two to three is more likely.

You are wrong...

I cant get the link to copy from my phone. But at least from 1996 to 2011 there were 5 plus new teams every year

4 new teams in 2012 (MIN, IND, WAS, SEA).

That means 4 out of 20 teams that didn't make the playoffs in 2011 made them in 2012. Just going by that, KC has a 20% chance of making the playoffs.

Touchy... I do believe that I referenced that in each of the last 8 years, at least 1 team has gone from worst to first within a division.

I also don't recall anyone saying that exactly the same teams would advance...

Those are some ugly numbers. I was looking for a chart to show how BAC relates to behavior/health. I dug through a bunch of impaired driving charts, but I don't think they really hit you with how bad those numbers are. I did find this:

Yeah. These guys were tore up.

That's a HUGE range. I used 2011 to 2012.

With the new CBA, I expect that number to shrink or stay the same, not grow.

What exactly do you have to drink to drink yourself to death? Wouldn't you pass out before you got to that point?
