Probably. As it is now, it's more or less a motorcycle.

I wonder if not having four wheels relaxes some safety standards that would add weight (and save your life). Back when I was in high school, there was a trend of little tiny pickups, and they were inexpensive because for some reason pickups didn't have the same safety requirements that cars did. I learned this because an acquaintance of mine clipped a semi on the highway while passing and rolled his little tiny truck, which didn't hold up well and caused him a major permanent brain injury.

Elio Go-Cart 1 person = 84 miles/person/gallon

Chevy Tahoe 8 person = 136 miles/person/gallon

Elio Crash = Grease Spot

Tahoe Crash = Live

They need to do better.

That was the first thing I thought.

As far as its 5 star safety rating I call bullshit. What is the safety rating of it when a hummer hits it because they never saw you.

Yeah, but it's so hard to find those other seven people. I have to hire day laborers, and that costs more than the gas.

:hmmm:

There is a slight flaw to my logic.

On the flip side, is this safer than a motorcycle?

BlackHelicopters 05-16-2013 06:05 PM

What?

OrtonsPiercedTaint 05-16-2013 06:09 PM

There is a two wheel in the front, 3 wheel motorcyle out there. This isn't that much different.

Semi would blow it off the road.

It'd actually look kinda cool if it had 4 wheels. Some meaty open wheeled 305's in the back of that and it would like kinda mean.

congrats, you have reinvented the prowler

I doubt it, what you gain in having a body, you would lose in pick up , speed and maneuverability

listopencil 05-16-2013 06:22 PM

I like it.

With gas approaching $4.00 / gallon, this could be a good option for singles who drive in town.
