You should probably start Donnie Avery over Bowe at this point, at least for the beginning of the season when the Chiefs face some tough defenses.

Um, no you should not. You should never start Donnie Avery over Dwayne Bowe regardless of matchup.

All in all your team looks very strong. Turner, Slaton and Thomas may all be considered stud RBs by the end of the season. I like Carlson, but with Gates I personally would drop him and add some more depth unless you are very worried about an injury. You will survive just fine one week with a waiver TE replacement.

Yeah, Slaton was the 3rd player I took. I actually had the number 4 pick but Larry Fitzgerald and Forte were taken in front of me - complete shocker. I think the curse of 370+ carries scared them off or something. I am a bit worried about WR and am looking to see if I can grab a nice sleeper somewhere. I personally think Bowe is going to be a top 5 WR this year with Haley riding his ass, the Chiefs playing catchup all year, and no other great Receiving options. We'll have to see if the double-teams limit him too much.

I think Bowe is a little overrated in fantasy this year...he's rated ahead of Owens.
