Not so much a story but a moment--
The 1980 season was when I started really getting into baseball and when he blasted that HR off Gossage in the 1980 ALCS...that was just ****ing awesome.

He's mellowed as he's gotten older. This was pretty cool of him to help the local Animal Shelter:

That has and will always be my favorite memory of George.

We finally beat those ****ers.

My favorite memories of GB: Fighting with Nettles after a hard slide at third. Hitting for the cycle. Standing at 2nd with this arms raised when breaking .400 in 1980. Flying into the dugout after a pop foul in the 85 Worlds Series. Hugging Sabes on the mound when they won it all. I went to Cooperstown in 1999 and was there when he was inducted. He Be GB, KC's version of Stan the Man. He's KC's Man.
