Well, we had to see this coming.

Happy Thanksgiving

Does he feel like he's just won the world series again?
|
God damn it.
|
To celebrate, I traded a bottle of Tank 7 and cash to my neighbor in exchange for a six pack of Olympia Extra Dry.
|
i hope this is a dream.
|
I give him a pass. they were able to pull the team out of a mid season tailspin.
One more year. He needs to get a couple guys in here and they need to at least make a playoff appearance or the guy is married to a loser coach and both need to go fish. |
I only thought he would be extended if it was coupled with a new coach.

“When Dayton’s contract was extended during the 2009 season, I felt that this franchise had begun to turn the corner and that we were pointed in the proper direction,” said Dan Glass, Royals’ team President. “It’s been a challenging process, but we are now seeing tangible evidence that the process is working, thanks to the tireless efforts of Dayton and his Baseball Operations staff. Dayton is not only an outstanding baseball man, but he’s very much a part of our family and one of the top individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.”

Well at least now we can chalk up the Myers/Shields trade to be even dumber than the Carlos Beltran trade.

Typical, and expected
