I love me some MMA/UFC, but nothing beats a good boxing match, nothing. its not even close either.

Quality, elite combat is fantastic for me , whether it is MMA, K1, Boxing, Mundials/ADCC, etc. I love it all.

I will admit that I love certain aspects of different sports. For example, there is nothing more beautiful to me in combat sports than perfect head-movement. I also love pure MT. I think all of these arts have things that can be appreciated. I don't enjoy how boxing has been run and it's sad to me love great, technical boxing matches.

Yep... boxing has given way to UFC mostly because of a lack of heavyweights.

Boxing has given way due to ineptitude at organizational levels, multiple belts, and a failure to effectively promote young talent.

Lack of heavyweights could have saved it.. but those guys are playing football or another sport.

Possibly but I doubt. Boxing's promotion philosophies in general and refusal to move away from the PPV model has contributed largely to their decrease in commercial appearances and sponsorship dollars. Additionally, it has led to less marketable product, which in turn hurts the sport.

Additionally, this is stupid. There are several elite talents for boxing as well as MMA/K1 that could b stars. For example, JDS is someone who wanted to be in boxing but to do Brasil's boxing scene, he was ignored. I think it is safe to say he has plenty of skills to be a relevant HW boxer.
