AZChief: Yeah, unfortunately, I wasn't around much over the summer. I dropped in a couple times but that was about it. So you just got back from California, huh? Family trip or what? Hope you enjoyed it! I had to keep my "handle". It just wouldn't be write any other way. I considered Steve_Martins_Twin but decided against it. I think Bardnt will have a decent year in Cincy. Too bad for him he's stuck with a PATHETIC franchise!

TBT, yeah I went home for a two week reprive from the heat and to celebrate my Grandma's 94 birthday. It was great...All she talked about was the Chiefs, Royals, and Roy Williams. I've never known a lady that old who loved sports so much...she's great. Tons of old KC Athletic, KC Blues, KC Monarchs, and KC Royal American stories...she knows KC sports history. My parents moved her from KCK to So Cal when she turned 90...she's not impressed!

Yeah, I think Martin needs to prove he deserves to have a twin...

I think the night before the KC/Indy game i will watch the tape you sent me again to put this season in perspective...I'm a little worried about our squad!

AZChief: Nice to know that your grandmother is on track! They moved her when she was 90? Wow, I'd be bitter if I was her.

Oh yeah, I don't think I ever asked you about that tape after you got it. Did it turn out okay and everything? Hopefully so. I've got my copy at home. Sounds like a good idea . . . I'll probably pull mine out too and watch it again pretty soon.

BTW, I'm worried about our guys too! Then again, we almost always stink in the pre-season. We'll wait and see.

TBT, the tape was great. I really appreciated you sending me that copy. I'm not sure what worries me most about this Chiefs squad but I think it's the secondary. Having two 34/35 year old corners is not reassuring. I was expecting Warfield to really step up...that hasn't happened yet. Oh well, we've got one more preseason game to get it together!

P.S. They moved Granny b/c she needed to live in an assisted living environment.

AZChief: sounds like you and I are on the same page. The secondary worries me the most too. Warfield has NOT stepped up this season like I thought he would. Plus, Dishman is looking more like the guy that was nicknamed "I-75" (I believe that was it) in Washington his last year. Hopefully at least one of our rookie DB's will step up Big-Time(Bartee, Wesley or Dennis). I'm keeping my fingers crossed over the secondary.
