The football game I'm going with in 2006?

Great game. Great graphics. Great presentation. EA got owned and they knew it. |
yep, so they just took 2k out completely. I was bored with football games this year. I tried to like madden, but it sucked.

I actually bought a used XBox copy, so I could get some updated rosters (the good stuff seems to be XBox exclusive) and finally see stuff like halftime replays; the ability to see a replay of any play of the game is pretty awesome, too.
I have not been disappointed. It's amazingly good, to this day. The screwed-up draft in Franchise mode is the only thing I hate, but the rest of the game is so good that I can overlook it. I honestly think EA won't match the presentation of 2k5 for another decade. Playing this reminds me that 2k6 and 2k7 would have been so good; also, MVP 2006 would have been so good (as evidenced by the college version)... **** exclusive licensing. |

I was still kind of hoping Sega would market a fully customizable football game without that "official" team names and players. I still think people would have bought it. |
That would definitely be a dream come true.

I got the new 2K baseball game for 2006, and I don't like it at all. I'd rather play MVP 2005.
I used to play the 2K football games on Dreamcast though and loved them. |
I'll be playing NCAA again this year. Just like every year.
I've bought Madden once since 2000, and I've never bought another football game. I'm playing College Hoops 2k6 right now, though, and it RULES. |
I'm not buying another sports game until I get a new system. The differences in graphics are just unbelievable.
|
I'm picking up my 360 on Saturday.
|
I'm waiting on the PS3. That's going to rule.

I still play my NFL 2K5 from time to time. It was the last football game I got. |
