The flow of Rugby play is like a river. Everyone is moving in the same direction. Hard hits? Yeah. Pads or helmets needed? Nope.

I've watched Rugby up close for years. Football is much more violent. There aren't players colliding to make a play in Rugby. It's more of a dance that looks tough because players fall down.

You need to watch better rugby.

I've watched great Rugby. The scrum centralizes/neutralizes the point of attack... it's like a wrestling match. The ball escapes and everyone runs in the same direction. No pads required.
