Masterson is tough. Sweep em Royals
|
The 2nd game will not be televised per MLB rules. The Tigers and Braves have the stupid national TV Sunday night baseball exclusive game. (The Boston thing was a one-time special exemption)

In for 2 wins

Damn, might have to go to #2 then.
|
That sucks. Oh well, hope to take at least one today.
|
It sucks that they just don't make this a straight double header. The crowd would be much better for game two if people didn't have to pay twice to watch it. I miss the good ole days. Damn kids, get off my lawn!
|
Let's get it! Salvy: Unbelievable!
|
Sweep 'em!
|
Go to the game if you can guys. We don't get weather like this very often. I'm going to #1 and then to see the black keys tonight. Stoked!

Lineups are out, Salvy Perez has been moved up. Cain is out.

I am out at the K already got a few ladies phone numbers. Probably going to sex them before the game.

People are flipping out because they can't stay for the second game I hope they don't force people to leave the parking lot.

MLB.tv is free today. That's not going to help you if you live in KC though.

Lineup for the first game is stupid.
Load the lineup with lefties to approach Masterson. He is deadly against RHP. Kotteras should be in the lineup for Game 1. Frenchy (not Cain) and Sal out. |

People are grilling. Titties are getting some sun. Sounds of tech nine and laughter around.

I actually have a subscription but I've within the area for blackout restrictions and I'm at school a lot. Would like to watch there. |
And **** dyson for cain when we have the WORST everyday player in right.
Blows my mind. |

Man.....Moustakas really needs to turn it up....same w/ Hosmer
Both desperately need to start driving the ball if this team is going to be a serious playoff contender. |

If you're heading out to the game today, be sure to stop by the bullpen and remind Chris Perez how much he sucks.

Eric has really looked pretty smooth and patient lately. Moose on the other hand... |

Both need to hit at least 25HR's each this season. That's only 5 more for Moose and Hosmer needs to hit that amount because he's just a better hitter than Moose for the most part...they both need to get it going. Time to stop playing little league small ball. Need to start whippin out the big dick. |

I would like to see Hosmer and Cain working together, that guys swing hasnt changed once since I've seen him. Looks perfect. Love his swing.

I know I'm not saying anything profound here, as we've all had our 2 cents about Frenchy starting, but holy shit. Everyone on this team (sans probably Hoch) is evaluated on talent.
Why not him? In the players' minds, assuming they can see what is blatantly obvious, Ned playing favorites certainly overcomes any of the clubhouse bullshit francoeur brings. |

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut alas, The team is winning while Ned is at helm so far so I won't crucify him for this.

1st inning
Top 1st
Brantley strikes out (looking) Kipnis flies out to left Cabrera singles to right Swisher grounds out to pitcher 0 runs, 1 hit Bottom 1st Gordon walks Escobar called out on a ball hit to second * Butler grounds into a 6-4-3 double play, Gordon out at second 0 runs, 0 hits * This was not the infield fly rule, but the second baseman intentionally dropped a liner to try to get a cheap double play. The umpire called out Escobar. |
Quote:
And I just don't see Moose or Hosmer being 25+ HR guys, unfortunately. |
It's bizarre to me how much time Royals fans spend worrying about Frenchy. Sure, he's crap to marginal but he's here for one more year and he was never labeled the future of the Royals.
Hosmer and Moustakas on the other hand were supposed to be the future of the franchise and they are captains of the failboat at this point. I can't get why so much energy is expended on a throw away player who'll be gone next year. It was one thing when Myers was available but that's no longer the case. |

Anyone got a feed for this game? Down by the lake but the game is still MLB blacked out and they don't get FSKC. Nothing at Firstrow either.

Let's run

Lol, **** Kipnis.
|
What kind of bush league shit was that?

Quote:
I'm not saying we don't have bats, because everyone knows the potential this lineup has. But it's hard to watch when we see situations like the Detroit game where Dyson pinch ran for billy, got in scoring position and eventually scored (something frenchy will never do) to tie the game. And he covers more ground defensively. Okay, I'm done. i won't pollute the gamethread any longer. |
