Watching the highlights gets me excited for the season all over again.

How many Chiefs are we thinking make the top 100 this year? Last year we had five in Charles (8), Hali (37), Berry (50), Houston (57), and DJ (64).

Charles and Houston are locks. Both could justifiably be named in the top 10 but I'm guessing they'll both be snubbed by more marketable names like Watt and Bell/Lynch. I'm still thinking top 20 for JC and Houston, though.

Hali won't make it along with DJ and Berry for obvious reasons.

I think this will be the year Poe finally cracks the lineup. Maybe somewhere in the 80s.

Hudson might be deserving but **** that guy.

Maclin will likely be named somewhere in the 60s, I'd guess..?

Sean Smith could squeak on if they put a scrub like Julian Edelman on there but I highly doubt it. He'd need another season like he had last year to hope for that kind of recognition.

Anyway, thoughts?

I'd be thoroughly shocked if Catapano isn't top 8. I hear he's in the best shape of his life!

Charles and Houston won't both be top 20. Here are my bets:

Houston 16
Charles 24
Poe: 58

And that's about it

I would expect Kelce to be on there. Keep in mind this reaches a fantasy audience and everyone knows who he is by now.

Good to see Emmanuel Sanders get snubbed like that. **** him with AIDS

There's literally a 0 percent chance Kelce makes the top 100.

It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

They say this list is a ranking of the top 100 players heading into the 2015 season- not how they performed last year. But, obviously, the most important basis you have for making that designation is what they did in the previous year. Kelce's production in the 2014 season doesn't warrant a top 100 selection, but his arrow is pointing wayyyyyy up so they could justify throwing him on there based on potential.

I don't think they will, but I'm saying I could see them doing it.

A guy with 22 sacks is going to be higher than 16. Top 10 easily. Possibly top 5.

On second thought, I have to agree with you about Charles. As far as the national pundits are concerned, he had a "down year" (heh) that was "plagued by injury".

He still scored 14 TDs which is more than any other RB not named Lynch, but idiots like to look at total rushing yards as the definitive factor in gauging a RBs effectiveness. I think he was like 15th or something in that category.

I'm thinking the RBs will be ranked 1) Leveon Bell 2) Marshawn Lynch 3) Demarco Murray (he'll probably light shit up in that new offense) 4) Lesean Mccoy (total bullshit) and then Jamaal as the 5th ranked RB. They might throw in someone like Eddie Lacy, Jeremy Hill or Justin Forsett ahead of Charles just to annoy me.

If he does - which would rank him ahead of Randall Cobb and Emmanuel Sanders - Goodell should immediately drug test every player who voted.

Top 5 is wishful thinking, IMO. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but this is an offensive league. We've probably got 3 of the top 5 set in stone from QBs alone (Rodgers, Brady, Luck). Watt will most assuredly be ranked higher than Houston.

Who would make up your top 10?

Edelman was ranked ahead of both :spock:

The list is total bullshit but I enjoy critiquing it.

ThaVirus 05-07-2015 04:46 PM

Does Adrian Peterson get ranked?

Holy Christ - I missed that.

What a joke.

Charles has never gotten the credit he's earned.
