Draft Access -- How Much Would You Pay?
 

I just asked this at a Pats forum, and it makes sense to do it here too. I'll just switch the names around:

A random thought I just had -- how much would you pay to have full and complete access to the Chiefs war room during the draft? See the draft board, sit in there with Carl and the rest?

Actually, sweeten the pot a little -- you can sit in on every group meeting relating to the draft by Chiefs brass for a week leading up to the draft. Hear discussions about final tweaks to the draft board, hear about potential trades to move up or down, etc.

One caveat -- NO QUESTIONS ALLOWED. You're a fly on the wall. Open your mouth for anything other than breathing, sneezing or coughing, and your butt is out the door. They're busy and don't have time for amateur-hour analysis. Of course, you can hear the answers to any questions Lamar asks etc.

If I can't say anything, I don't want to be there. I'd be kicked out in half a second.

after the 1st round screwed up pick i would suddenly explode and start fling chalk and staplers around with extreme force.

the stapler would "randomly" strike people until finally is struck Carl peterson in his temple leaving him dead on the floor.

It's much easier for you to sit in on the Pats draft room and stay quiet.

Firstly, your FO/Coaching staff have proven they know what the hell they are doing.

Secondly, having won 3 of the last 5 SBs, you don't have 30+ years (or however long you've been a Chiefs fan) of pent up frustrations to vent.

I think you could put a high value on an experience like that. Equivalent to a trip to the Superbowl or something

As I've said before, I'm okay with anyone this group drafts. If they drafted the Pope I'd say "it sure will be interesting to see how THAT strategy unfolds..."

Honestly. They have carte blanche in my book.

I'd pay a $100 or so, just for the stories I could tell on CP.
