A friend of mine had this done last year.

He has to go back in next week to have the mesh put in.

Something about when it is strangulated, like his was, they cannot use the mesh.

Those medical people are experts at pain management. They do this stuff for a living :)

I have had 5 hernia surgerys over the years and compared to when they used stone knives and bear skins in the seventys today it's a peace of cake. You will be fine.
